Thanks to the subtle matte finish of the yarn, the seams look exceptionally premium and retain their rich, deep black even after many washes without fading.
As a high-quality core-spun thread with a stable filament core made of brand polyester, Trigan combines the natural, matte look of a cotton thread with the extreme tear resistance of modern textile technology. The thread runs absolutely smoothly, is colourfast and extremely durable. Thanks to the precise winding on a cross-wound spool, the thread glides off the roll smoothly and without tension fluctuations – both on your domestic sewing machine and on heavy industrial machines.

To ensure that the strong TRIGAN No. 30 jeans thread runs perfectly on your machine and delivers a flawless stitch pattern, I recommend the following settings:
- Bobbin thread tip: If using a domestic sewing machine, you may want to use Trigan 30 as the top thread only. For the bobbin, you can use a thinner thread in thickness 80 or 100 to prevent the bobbin case from jamming.
- Needle: Use strong needles (size 100 to 120).
- Ironing: Only iron the finished seams at a maximum of moderate heat (level 2), as polyester is more heat-sensitive than cotton.
