Medium-weight black organic denim (10.6 oz): premium quality through sanforization
This high-quality, deep-black denim fabric is made from pure organic cotton and produced sustainably without harmful chemicals, in accordance with GOTS criteria. The fabric does not carry a final certificate, as my shop is not GOTS-certified as the last business in the supply chain. The manufacturer is also certified with "IVN Best" and "fair-for-life".
Thanks to sanforization, the denim remains dimensionally stable and retains its shape even after washing. The process minimizes shrinkage, ensures a uniform surface, and gives the fabric a pleasantly controlled tension. For your projects, this means: precise fits, reliable cutting dimensions, and a professional result, even for more demanding garments such as jeans, jackets, or bags.

The manufacturer specifies washability up to 60° C on a normal cycle. For the most colour‑preserving care, however, I recommend a maximum of 30° C on a gentle or easy‑care cycle.
