Shank buttons for invisible fixing
All buttons are shank buttons. They have an eye or a ring on the back which is fixed to the garment by a thread. Therefore it's not visible how the buttons are fixed, and they are very visually beautiful for jackets or coats.
Practical and decorative
Shank buttons are practical and decorative at the same time. They are suitable for many different garments and accessories.
Because of the eye, there is always some space between button and fabric, which is particularly an advantage with thicker materials. Thick yarn like carpet thread is often used for attaching, as it is more robust and can withstand a higher load, especially with heavy coats.
